An album of my Mum with Rambling Rose

Glad you could drop by and see what I have made with the stunning,
Rambling Rose Papers, Dies and embellishments designed by Sue Smyth for Ultimate Crafts.
I found this Box that flips open to reveal a little album, I love how versatile this collection is and it suits the old black and white photos of my Mum.
This is the front of the box, I have used lots of different patterned papers from the 12 x 12 Rambling Rose Paper Pack

This is the box when its opened right up,
I have used the gorgeous Latticed Panel die to make a pocket, and the Tag and Corner Options die and cut the photo to fit on the tag.

Don't be afraid to use a die to cut your photo you need to make sure it fits the die, if not try it on a copy of the photo first.  I have used the Stamp and Die set Count Your Life to cut the photo to fit on the tag. The butterfly is form Butterfly tag

This is the first opening of the album and I have fussy cut some flowers out of the paper and added some store bought rose buds and added the tiny leaves from the Mini Sprigs Die.

Using the Bunting and Alpha Stamp set to add the banner in the corner and just cut out some of the tiny pictures from the paper.

This is the back of the book and love how Sue has designed these paper with frames that you can cut out and use. I have used the Latticed Tag die and cut it in half, to fit behind the photos. Fussy cut a few butterflies and flowers to embellish the page.

I have added some wooden beads for legs on the bottom of the box.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my Album of Mum with Rambling Rose.

White with 1

Can you believe its March already how quick is this year going.
So for my first challenge in March is
So this is the colour we had to use and I have the perfect picture.
I am loving the Marker Maniacs pearlescent sprays and mica powers, I have mixed Orange Sherbet powder with Anna Griffin Texture Paste.
Just had the new Ultimate Crafts Stencils arrive at Shelley's Land. So I thought I would use the Field of Flowers for the background,
Here is a picture of the rest of the stencils available at Shelley's Land
And here is the layout I have created, I love the shimmer on these sprays and they are so much better in person. I had some Imaginarium chipboard left over from a class that Natalie May taught a while back and painted them with Dylusions Black marble paint. Added some mica Marshmellow White to the black flowers for a nice shimmery finish.

Well its back to the craft room for a play with the new stencils and dies hope to get another challenge done very soon.
Cheers Shelley

I decided late last night to enter another challenge, I love how this is getting me back in the scrap room and creating.
So here is my take on the A2Z February challenge
Scrap My World is this months challenge.
And of course my hubby is my world.

So I have used some chipboard for the title and sprayed it with Dylusions Pomegranate Seed, and the flourishes in Dylusions Dirty Martini.
I needed to change the colour of my Magnolia Flowers so they would match
so I also sprayed them with  Dylusions Pomegranate Seed. If you click on the link you will see I sell them on Shelley's Land
I love how it seem to give the flowers different colours and shine and all I had to so was spray them.
A couple of charms and embellishments and only fancy cutting for this one not a die cut in site. I did some fussy cutting and used Kaisercraft Cherry Tree Lane paper.
Hope you enjoyed looking at my layout.
Cheers Shelley

I decided to give a couple of challenges ago, so here is the next one.
   White ...with 1 Blue Jeans
So you can use the sketch if you want to so I decided I would.

I have had these Denim flowers floating around and thought this was perfect for this page. Adding some blue sequin trim over some pleated paper.
I have used the new Mini Designer Template from Kaiser called Cherry Blossom using the Anna Griffin Embossing paste and while it was still wet sprinkled some Anna Griffin pigment powder Blue added a little bit of Tinby Designs Metallic Melts.

I have used Couture Creations Ornamental Affair Jasper Doily, Scrapmatts String Circles and a little flair.
I hope you like my take on White with ...1

Well its February 2017 already, where does the time go.
I haven't participated in a challenge for a long time, so I thought why not give it a go and make a lovley page layout at the same time.

I have watched from the sidelines with this Kraft + Inspiration and Challenges and thought I would give it a go. I do love Kraft paper as you can add any colour you like to it and it just pops.

So here is my layout I created last night.
I have used the new Kaisercraft 12 x 12 Intricate tiles template, the round doily one bottom left.
Using some Anna Griffin Texture paste and spray some of the Dylusions ink Spray Vibrant Turquoise, Campso Teal and softened it with White Linen.

You can purchase this from  Shelley's Land on Facebook
I have used the lovley Couture Creations Sea Breeze Paper for the Leaves and the Banner and the sticker sheet.

I am loving the new dies from Paper Roses also available to order at Shelley's Land
I have used 3 of them on this layout

Petunia Flower Set Metal Cutting Die 16623

I found in my stash of Chipboard the title and the heart is from 2 Crafty Chipboard.
I hope you like my layout
Cheers

Ooh La La double page layout

I am loving the new range from Ultimate Crafts deigned by Queenie Young.
I love to open a scrapbook album and see a double page so this is what I have created.

I started with the paper, Wrapped with Gold from the 12 x 12 paper pack as my background.
I used the Ultimate Crafts Die Livi Frames & Flourish Set to frame my photo's as I already had them  cut in an oval shape and they fit perfectly.

I have used Chocolate Swirls paper to cut the Lavish Borders and just kept cutting and glueing them together till they fit across the page.
The fence is cut from Core'dinations card stock Turtle to match the photo frame and the die is Ultimate Crafts Ornate Entrance Set there are 2 dies in this one.
I love to add a little flourish her and there so I used the  Ultimate Crafts Elemental Corner Set and just cut pieces if it to fit.
I have added some charms and chipboard for the Title and using the Magnolia Lane flowers I have added sequins to the centre.
And found this lantern and painted it with gold first and then used Tinby Designs Metallic Melts in Bronze to give it the shimmer and antique look.
I hope you like my double page layout. If you click on Shelley's Land  you will go to my facebook business page.

Recycle Jewellery

Well who has lots of costume Jewellery that they have bought and worn a few times.
If you don't want to throw them out why not use them in a frame.
I glued the 12 x 12 paper onto the back of the frame, such a pretty paper
"Lemoncraft House of Roses "
cut a heart shape out with my cricut machine really just for the template.
Then its just a matter of glueing your pieces of jewellery to the heart.
I use my hot glue gun and Helmar Craft glue for the smaller pieces
and the seed beads to fill up any gaps.
I chose a frame that will be under glass so there will be no dust getting in.
Hope to create one in another colour soon

World Card Making Day

I made a few cards on Saturday for World Card Making Day

I have been having fun making shaker cards here are two of them,
I have used the Ultimate Crafts Seasons Greetings 6 x 6 in paper Pad
You have to trim the paper down a little bit to fit on to the
Couture Creations Square cards and envelopes.
I love the new Seasons Greetings Collection Dies
and this one I have used is On Dasher Night Sky
its perfect for a shaker card.

I have added some seed beads and Couture Creations Fine Glitter in green.
Added a little bling and a Couture Creations Poinsettia from the Small mixed poinsettia pack.
I added a little branch from the Seasons Greetings Die Pinecone Layers

Second one is on the same size 6 x 6 card and cut down to fit.
Once again I have made this one into a shaker card buy cutting out just around the fireplace,
adding some acetate and foam mounting tape.
This die is from the Seasons Greetings range as well
Fireplace.

I have added a little extra fine glitter to the front of the fireplace just for extra shine.
The paper is out of the same Seasons Greetings paper pad.

Just a couple of easy ones to pop in the mail.
I have used the 6 x 6 paper and just cut out the sentiments.
Adding a flower and a few branches.

I hope your enjoying your long weekend
