Ooh La La double page layout

I am loving the new range from Ultimate Crafts deigned by Queenie Young.
I love to open a scrapbook album and see a double page so this is what I have created.

I started with the paper, Wrapped with Gold from the 12 x 12 paper pack as my background.
I used the Ultimate Crafts Die Livi Frames & Flourish Set to frame my photo's as I already had them  cut in an oval shape and they fit perfectly.

I have used Chocolate Swirls paper to cut the Lavish Borders and just kept cutting and glueing them together till they fit across the page.
The fence is cut from Core'dinations card stock Turtle to match the photo frame and the die is Ultimate Crafts Ornate Entrance Set there are 2 dies in this one.
I love to add a little flourish her and there so I used the  Ultimate Crafts Elemental Corner Set and just cut pieces if it to fit.
I have added some charms and chipboard for the Title and using the Magnolia Lane flowers I have added sequins to the centre.
And found this lantern and painted it with gold first and then used Tinby Designs Metallic Melts in Bronze to give it the shimmer and antique look.
I hope you like my double page layout. If you click on Shelley's Land  you will go to my facebook business page.

Recycle Jewellery

Well who has lots of costume Jewellery that they have bought and worn a few times.
If you don't want to throw them out why not use them in a frame.
I glued the 12 x 12 paper onto the back of the frame, such a pretty paper
"Lemoncraft House of Roses "
cut a heart shape out with my cricut machine really just for the template.
Then its just a matter of glueing your pieces of jewellery to the heart.
I use my hot glue gun and Helmar Craft glue for the smaller pieces
and the seed beads to fill up any gaps.
I chose a frame that will be under glass so there will be no dust getting in.
Hope to create one in another colour soon

World Card Making Day

I made a few cards on Saturday for World Card Making Day

I have been having fun making shaker cards here are two of them,
I have used the Ultimate Crafts Seasons Greetings 6 x 6 in paper Pad
You have to trim the paper down a little bit to fit on to the
Couture Creations Square cards and envelopes.
I love the new Seasons Greetings Collection Dies
and this one I have used is On Dasher Night Sky
its perfect for a shaker card.

I have added some seed beads and Couture Creations Fine Glitter in green.
Added a little bling and a Couture Creations Poinsettia from the Small mixed poinsettia pack.
I added a little branch from the Seasons Greetings Die Pinecone Layers

Second one is on the same size 6 x 6 card and cut down to fit.
Once again I have made this one into a shaker card buy cutting out just around the fireplace,
adding some acetate and foam mounting tape.
This die is from the Seasons Greetings range as well
Fireplace.

I have added a little extra fine glitter to the front of the fireplace just for extra shine.
The paper is out of the same Seasons Greetings paper pad.

Just a couple of easy ones to pop in the mail.
I have used the 6 x 6 paper and just cut out the sentiments.
Adding a flower and a few branches.

I hope your enjoying your long weekend
