Kaiser Saturday Sketch September 2

Black and Bling was the theme for Jordyn 21st, so of course I had to keep the theme going with my layout for Kaiser's Saturday Sketch # 2. I came across some older black and white paper called Argententella and adding that with the newer Black and White paper pad a little bit of silver card stock using Nestabilities and a Doily Die they all went really well together.
Plus the added bonus for me was I could add lots of bling, with some kindy glitz on the Kaiser flowers and the ones I made with Kaiser paper and strips of bling around the photo and here it is my Black and Bling page.
A close up of the flowers
Here is the sketch.
Jordyn had a prize for the Bling King and Bling Queen and guess what I WON the Bling Queen, I am pretty well known for all of my costume jewellery and of course my watches which is at around 130 or more at the moment. I did tell Jordyn and Tracey I was out to win.
Cheers Shelley.

Folded Handbag Card

A couple of post's ago I gave you a sneak peak of a project I was working on well here it is. This was made for Tracey's daughter Jordyn 21st Birthday. I used it as her card and also was able to put her present in there as well. As her theme was Black and Bling I had a great time making this one as I used lots of sparkly paper and was able to add lots of shiny bits and pieces to it as well.
This is the front of the bag I have added a little chain on the top so it does look like a handbag.
And the back of the bag with just a little more bling,
This is from one side,
And this is it opened up, you cant really add to much on the inside as it needs to fold up,
Well I know Jordyn liked the little bag and of course the Thomas Sabo Black Pearl Bracelet and Silver Shoe charm to match the bag. This is a photo of Jordyn and my daughter Jessie they have know each other since Kindy.
I just googled images folded handbag tutorial and the first one is what I used.
Well I am just about finished the Kaiser Sketch # 2 for September which is a photo of me for a change so I will post it tomorrow.
Cheers Shelley

Kaiser Monday Make Up Sketch

Well here is my take on the first sketch for the month of September, they had computer problems so they have named this one Kaiser Monday Make Up Sketch.
This is my daughter Jessie at her friend Natasha's 21st Birthday Party the theme was 1950's.
I have used my favourite paper Kaiser's  English Rose using both of the 12 x 12 and the paper pads.I got  some new Spellbinders Shapeabilities on Wednesday so I have put them to use already. The flowers have been made with the New Spiral Blossom 1 no S4-351 and the other shapes are with the new Ironwork Motifs no S5-059. The very delicate leaves are done with the Die-Namics Fancy Flourish.
This is a close up of the flowers they are so easy to do with the Spiral Blossom Die Cut.
This is the Kaiser Sketch
This is the New Spiral Blossom 1 no S4-351

Spiral Blossoms One
And this one is  Ironwork Motifs no S5-059
Ironwork Motifs
I have also used some of the New Kaiser Sparklets and the smaller Mini Paper Blooms.
Look what I got in the mail today my order of more Cheery Lyn Doilies & Exotic Dies from Mandy at Scrappy-Go-Lucky, I am of to have a play with them now.

Another Llittle Box

I have made this little box for a very special friend of mine. She has been going through a lot over the last 10 months or more and without giving away to much that's all I will say as she hasn't got this yet.
I have used Doily Dies and purchased from Scrappy-Go-Lucky, Lattice FRM 115, French Pastry DL 102, Kiwi Oval Frame DL 123, Japanese Lace & Flourish Frame DL 137 ( just the leaves on this one), Exotic Butterflies Set of 3 small DL 113, Spellbinders Nestabilities Carnation Creations S5 049, Grand 12' Classic Lace Border. Die-namics Fancy Flourish, and last but not least 2 of the Magnolia Stamps Tilda With Three Flowers and Tulip Wheelbarrow both from Michelle's Cards & Stamps.
This is from the front of the box,
And just a few smaller pictures of the different angles,
I know there is a lot on here but once I get started I just can't seem to stop with all the little bits and pieces.
Here is just a little sneak peak of something else I have been working on that I will post next week.

Cheers Shelley

Fathers Day Card's

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there in Blog Land. I thought I would show you the few that I have been doing tonight, they are really quick ones and all of them are done with Cricut Fathers Day Cartridge.
This one was made on Friday night by my son's girlfriend Ashley for her Dad with a little bit of help from me.
This one is for my hubby Gary, I used Kaiser paper for the background and cut out the wave shapes and added a rubon with a sparklet in the corner.
This one is for my Father-in-law, also using Kaiser paper,
This one I have been working on during the week, that's why there is a lot more detail in it.
I have used a couple of different Cricut Cartridges for this one, My World, Going Places and Storybook.
Kaiser Paper Pads again and I have embossed the cloud with embossing folder tiny Bubbles.
I made this one into an easel card so it really looks like the plane which is supposed to represent a Tiger Moth is in the air flying. My Sister's and Brother and myself all put in and got my Dad a 30 minute flight in one I wonder if her will guess what is it. If he doesn't I will have the voucher in there as well.
I hope you enjoy looking at these cards and please leave a comment as I love to read them.
I will be back tomorrow or Monday with a project I have been working on for a special friend.
Cheers Shelley

Kaiser Saturday Sketch August # 4

Here is my layout for the last Kaiser sketch for the month.
I have used an older paper this time, although its not that old. Homemade Collection was perfect for this layout as it has a lot of  Family saying's and because it was for Daniels 30Th birthday I wanted blue and brown colours.

I wanted the little squares with the family names on them to use on the bottom of the page.

I cut these out of the 6" Paper Pad and used foam mounting tape to lift them up a little.

I showed my Mum and Dad this layout today and they were quite surprised that I had done this layout already as the Party was only the day before which was Sunday. Its great having your own printer you can upload and print your photos straight away.
Cheers Shelley

Kaiser Saturday Sketch August # 2

Well I did say I would be back with Kaiser's August Sketch no 2 and this is it.
I love the opportunity to be able to scrap or make cards using different brands of paper and when you actually see layouts or cards done with them, you can see that we all have our own unique ideas and interpretations. I love way the Hunt and Gather can be used it many different ways and not just for Camping or Fishing you just have to think outside the square.
I have used one of the 12 x 12 sheets of paper and the Paper Pads and Embellishments.
The stickers are from the Sticker Sheet that matches even the banner in the corner.
I have printed out the story and then brushed it over with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, to give it a dirty look.
Just a little tip if you put powder on the back of a sticker it stops it from sticking.
I was then able to use some mounting foam on the back of the bird to lift it up a bit.
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments,
 Cheers Shelley
