Totally Tilda Challenge Blog

Well here I am with another card with Magnolia Stamps.
So its simple all you need to do is use a Magnolia Tilda stamp on your card and you must also feature a cat or dog on your creation.
Well the thing is I didn't have a cat or dog until Thursday when I went to Michelle Cards and Stamps class  and guess what the Dog was on my list of stamps to buy. I got 10 new ones and I have used 3 of them in this card.
I used the Grand Nestabilities Die to cut out the card shape and added some lace at the back of the card. I have used Tilda's Mure which is the bricks that Leaning Tilda is on and of course her puppy dog Wilma with Rose.
I have coloured in with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a blender pen.
Hope you like this one.

2 Challenges

Hello everyone, I thought I would enter my card in 2 challenges this week. The first is for Just Magnolia, LAnglar and sTanglar Blog where the challenge this week is Make it Lacy so they would like to see Lace featured somewhere on your project – either real or faux/pucnhed/die cut/ paper etc.
And the second is for Birthday Sundaes challenge, you have to  make a birthday card and include at least 3 circles and of course, a birthday sentiment/wording on your card front.

So here is my card with Magnolia stamp 60' Tilda all coloured with Copics and she is sitting on some Lace and I have used Nestabilities Heart Circle's and Nestabilities Standard Circle for the round shapes. You may not be able to see but there are 5 circle shapes, 3 being the heart shape circle and then 2 plain circles. I have also used a Martha Stewart around the page punch in the Hearts. And of course I have added some Kaiser Pearl's and some Kindy Glitz to jazz the card up a little.
I am supposed to be tidying up my Craft Room but I stopped so I could make this card.
Enjoy

Cricut 360 First Design Team

Well with the 92 Cricut Cartridges I own I thought I would give this New Challenge Blog a try. You have to create a page or card using your Cricut Cartridges and the colour Lime Green and a Bug somewhere in it as well. I used Kaiser paper for the background then cut out the Olive green with Elegant Edges Loops on page 35. The pot was from Doodlecharms and it was actually the Bucket on page 116 and I cut of the side parts. I now have my Gypsy that I purchased from Mandy at Scrappy-Go-Lucky, so I will be able to use that as well now. I used Mothers Day Bouquet for the Pink Flowers and just layered them on top of each other, also the Dark Green Leaves and the Flowers that I have put around the edges of the photos. You cant see all of these flowers as I have place them under the photos. The grass is from Zooballoo page 129, and the Caterpillar is from Walk In My Garden on page 120.
The site is called Cricut 360o and they are looking for a Design Team, I have had fun just playing around with my Cartridges and finally getting some long overdue Scrapping done. The pots in the photo that the children are sitting in have my Topiary trees that have been growing in them for about 12 years.
Wish Me Luck!

Just Magnolia and LAngler & sTanglar Challenge Blog

Anything Goes with the optional extra of stitching is the theme for Just Magnolia and LAngler & sTanglar Challenge Blog this week. So I decided to have a go as I am in love with these little stamps. I have coloured Jam Tilda with Copic Sketch Markers an made the flowers from Cricut Cartridge Mothers Day Bouquet.
I used Kaiser Paper, Bazzil Card stock, and of course the card is made with my Grand Calibar using the Grand Labels 4 as you can see I have layered the different sizes. I have got Jam Tilda actually sitting on the Mothers Day sentiment. My Little bit of stitching is the Bow I have added to the card.
This is my first challenge for this blog so I hope they like it.

Holiday's and Cards

Well I am back from Holidays and we all had a really good break, the weather wasn't all that great but we still managed to do a few things and get to the beach. We all got up at 4.30 am and went to our very first Anzac Parade, I must say it was very moving. Jessie made a lovely dinner one night Red Wine Beef Pie and Stuffed Potatoes all made from scratch no Mrs Continental for my daughter.
And here we are overlooking Maleny as you can see the weather wasn't really great but we had fun in all the shops at Monteville.
We had lunch at a cafe called Elements at Monteville and this is the scenery we got to look at while we were eating, just beautiful.
And this was my space where I got to make all the cards
I made about 25 cards
Here a a couple of close ups of some of the stamps I coloured using Copics and Tim Holtz Distress Ink,
I used the Distress Inks all around the edges of this card and on the wooden spoon
I love this one Magnolia's Tilda with Bike and the bike paper is from a 6 x 6 Paper Pad by
Jilli bean Soup, it suited the stamp really well.
This one is my favourite I think I will keep this for myself.
I have coloured Tilda as Butterfly with Copics and used Nestabillities to cut out the shapes on the card.

I hope you enjoy looking at the photo's from our Holiday and the cards I got to make.

Meeting Mandy

Well I am nearly packed ( only my craft stuff) and ready for my holidays, 2 weeks in Caloundra starting tomorrow.

I was so lucky to meet MANDY from Scrappy-Go-Lucky today she is in Brisbane for a few day's. It's like meeting a Celebrity when you see someones blog or hear so much about them, and she is just a lovely in person as she is on her Blog. Thanks Mandy for bringing my New Doily Dies that I ordered, I am so excited I think they are my favourite product at the moment and I have only had a little play with them so far, but I will make some cards while I am away.
I have cut them out with my Grand Calibar but other Die Cutting machines work as well.
You can see her the detail on the dies is just so amazing and it was so easy to cut out and all the little pieces just fell away.
These are the 4 that I have got SO FAR, and I have got a store bought one to show you just how much better the Doily Dies are.
Waltzing Matilda

Italian Flourish

Canadian Kaleidoscope

Heart To Heart

So I am going to have some fun making cards with these while I am away, if you go over to Tracey's and Tori's blog you will see that they have both made some cards with them already.
Nice to finally meet you Mandy have a fun time while your hear and a safe trip home.
I may not do any posting while I am away so see you all soon.

Magnolia Rubber Stamps

I just love these little cuties Tilda and all of her friends and accessory stamps to match. I made these a few weeks ago and I didn't want to give them away but Its my Mum's birthday tomorrow and I have given her one. Jessie my daughter asked me to whip up a card for her friends birthday on Saturday so I whipped this one up for her with the Love Muffin Stamp.
Meet Noble Tilda she is sitting on a Love Muffin. I coloured her with Copics and some of my new paper pads from Scrappy-Go-Lucky called Desert Blooms. They are 6 x6 and you get 64 sheets of paper they are just great for card making.

This is a close up of Noble Tilda I have used mounting foam, so she is actually throwing of a shadow in the photo.
Now to meet Three Flowers Tilda coloured in with Copics and I have used Martha Stewart Border Punch in the Heart shape, and Nestabillities are a perfect size for Magnolia Stamps.

Just added a paper doily at the back and inked it but I have also just ordered the New Doily Dies from Scrappy -Go-Lucky cant wait to have a play with them.

This is the card I gave to my Mum and she is Jam Tilda.
All pretty in Pink and with her cute little Butterflies, and I have used EK Success Butterfly Chain
border Punch.
I hope you like looking at these and don't forget to win the give aways you need to become a follower and leave your comments as I look forward to reading them.

Jessie and Luke's Cake

Well the engagement party went really well we all had a wonderful night. I was lucky enough to be a guest designer on Scrappy-go-Lucky's Something Someone Sunday. I wont go into all the details on how I made the cake you can go over to Scrappy-go-Lucky to see this but I thought I would show you a few pictures of Jessie and Luke's cake that Lea made and then the cake I made for her.
Here they are just before they cut the Cake.

The cake represents a ring box and of course with a ring inside.
The photo's just don't show up all the lovely lace work Lea did on a few parts of the Cake.

This is a close up of the lovely flowers they are all done in real icing so you can eat them, but Jessie is going to keep a few of these.

This is the back of the cake.

And Lea even made a little flower with ribbon and bows to put on the knife.

This is the cake that I made for lea for her 40th Birthday now you can see why I wanted to make her something special as she always does a beautiful job on her cakes.

Unfortunately she can't eat her cake its only for her to keep on display.
Don't forget to become a follower and leave a comment so I can get up to 50 and draw the prizes.
I will put a few more photo's up in a few days of the Lolly table and a few decorations I did for the party.
Enjoy Shelley

Engagement Invites

Well seeing that this is the night before the Engagement Party I thought I would show you the invites that I made. I would have liked a lot more bling but Jessie was very happy with what we came up with. As you can see the theme for the night is White, Blue and Silver. We used the Birds and Swirls Cuttlebug folder and I cut the silver and the white invitation pieces with my Nestabillities. Added some Ribbon, Lace and a couple of rhinestones and there you have it all done.
Well it may look really easy but by the time your at the 30, 40, or even 50, mark at making them your wishing you had bought them, well not really but I was thinking it a few times.
This is just a few of them cut out and ready to put together.

Well I am sure after tomorrow night I can put a few more things up that I made, but cant let the secret out until after the party so stay tuned.
Cheers Shelley

Give Away

I would like to reach 50 follower's, and I have some prizes to give away. Some become a follower and leave a comment so you can win in the random draw. These are some of the prizes you will win, there will be a Stamp, Die Cuts and Letters in each set of Kaiser Dear Santa or Christmas Carnival.
My daughter had a 21st to go to this weekend and she asked me to make the card and she wanted a little bag or box to put the pressie in so this is what I came up with.

I used Kaier Utopia Paper Pad for most of it and added some cardstock, ribbon and of course used one of my new flowers that I got from the Craft Expo. I changed the colour of the lace using a Copic Marker.

I couldn't leave the back of the bag plain so I just added this to the back.
I hope she liked it.
