Craft Expo

Tracey, Lola and myself set out for the Craft Expo today, they picked me up at 7.45 and we got home around 4 pm. We had a fantastic day got lots of ideas and grabbed heaps of bargains. Spent a few dollars or more but it was well worth it. This is a picture of all my goodies I got today, can't wait to get in and make something with it all.

We also bumped into a friend of ours who is so also very talented so pop over and check out Cathy's blog, she was with her sister and had finished here shopping until I saw her again and we all just had to buy some of these flowers.
The larger white flowers I am going to use on a Wishing Well for my daughter's engagement party. There are 4 bunches of them and they only cost me $10.
Hope you enjoy.

ETC - Kaiser with Melissa and Alison

Here is a double page spread I did at Kaiser Browns Plains today, with Melissa Kennedy and Alison Hannah. They are both wonderful teacher's both with different ideas, we had a lovely morning trying all sorts of techniques.
We used English Rose Paper Collection, made our own flowers as well as using the Kaiser Paper Blooms.
We used the paper and cut it into strips and added the embellishments, lace and inked all the edges. There was so much to do so I finished mine at home.

We used a product called Diamond Dust (Twinklets) on the flowers, you have to be very careful as it is actually cut glass.

I hope you like what we did.

Cricut Cartridges 84 and counting.

I have just up dated my Cricut Cartridge List. My total is now 84 Cartridges and I have another 6 that I have recently purchased that I am waiting for. So when they arrive the total will be 92.
I know you are all thinking how could I possibly need that many and yes you are probably right, but the thing is I just see different shapes and fonts, flowers and characters and my needing turns into wanting and then just having to have them.
I am busy with my daughter Jess and her fiance Luke's engagement party at the moment and then I am going away for holiday's, but when I get back I am going to start from the last letter of the Alphabet Z and work my way backwards to A, and I will post a card or a scrapbooking page at least every week where I have used that Cartridge. So stay tuned and become a follower as I will be giving away a few prizes.
These are my shelves where my Cartridges are, maybe I need a few more shelves.
Kaiser Plastic Storage Pockets are great for storing your Solutions Cartridges in.

So keep checking to see when I start my first project with my Cricut Cartridges.

I just wanted to add a couple of Milestones for me, I have just this month been an AVON Consultant now for 10 years and a CREATIVE MEMORIES Consultant for 5 years.

Alyssa's Birthday and Mr Cricut

This is the photo I was waiting to put on with these photos of Alyssa's birthday. Here I am in Tereesa and Alyssa's Craft room giving Alyssa's Mr Cricut a cuddle, she was very luck to have been given him by Jane from Scossie Jane she bought him back from CHA and sent him to Alyssa.

Well I made this lovley little draw set from Kaiser for Alyssa for her Birthday on Saturday. I used all of the Kaiser Magic Happens Paper and some of the Embellishments to match.

This is one side where I put the Little Unicorn
The other side I just positioned the paper so the Fairy would be on the side.
These are the Chipboard Embellishments that I used for the top of the drawers, and I added some Kaiser Flowers as well as some bling down the front.
I then had to make her a card to go with it so I decided on using my Spellbinders Nestabillities Large Dies that you use the Grand Calibar to cut them out. Then I cut out the Blue Fairy Godmother from Cricut Cartridge Disney Classics.

I also used a Marthda Stewart Punch for the Heart shapes.
I am really glad she liked it.

My Birthday

As some of you may know already through Tracey's blog it was my birthday on Monday and we went Op Shop Shopping. Tracey has already put her photo of us trying on wedding dresses but this is how I did mine.
I used the Creative Memories Storybook to add and edit the photo's.
These are some of the cards that I got from my Family and friends.

My daughter made me this card and
of course I cant have a birthday without her famous Cup Cake's

Tracey from Trace-Elementz made me this cute little jar with my very own Fairy inside, she is guarding lots of little jewels

These cards are from Karin who I see every wednesday at card classes and then the other one is from My God Daughter Kirra.

Thanks everyone for making my birthday very special I am so blessed to have a wonderful Family and Fantastic Friends.

Kaiser 12 Frame Photo Display

Well I have finally finished my Kaiser Photo Display, although as you can see I haven't put any photo's in it. I wanted to use the special Kaiser paper they have designed to fit these Frames. This has to be one of my favourites so far English Rose. I painted the frame first and then added the paper which I cut to fit in behind the frames.
I have used Kaiser wooden flourishes and sprayed them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Viva Pink. And I did the same for the Kaiser Doily.  This is how the English Rose paper comes.
This is the finished frame.

Kaiser Crochet Doily that I sprayed with the Glimmer Mist

I used my Copic Pens to change the colour of the Lace and I also made the flowers under the word Treasure with a Die-Namics Steal Die. You use it in your Cuttlebug and I cut the flowers from Felt and then just glued them on.

These are just bought flowers and then I found this little piece of old fashioned lace in my stash.
Lots of Kaiser Pearls and Rhinestone's. I love my Bling.

I am not sure where I am going to hang this yet but I am sure I will find somewhere.

40 Ferrero Rocher's

Doesn't this one make you just put on weight by just looking at it. It was so tempting to each just a few while I made it but I needed 40 of them so I couldn't. I grew up with Janny-Lou and she turned 40 and I didn't know what to give her so I decided to make this instead of a pressie. She loved it and so did everyone else. ( I think they just wanted to eat the flowers).

Using layers of Gold and Brown Tissue paper that I cut out with my Nestabillities Scalloped Circles, because the paper is so thin I could cut out a few at a time by folding the paper. I then threaded them onto a skewer stick and then attached the chocolate. They are then randomly put into a foam brick in the box and then I just filled it with the green paper and added a few pearl and flower stems.
I hope she doesn't eat them as it would be a shame to pull it all apart.

Sweet 16 Birthday Card

My son's girlfriend Ashley turned 16 this week and I made her this card, I only used Martha Stewart All Occasions Cake Art Cricut Cartridge to make the ballons, writing and numbers. It really is a great Cartridge and not just for making real cakes.
I made it into an easle card so she can see the balloons.

I added extra Kindy Glitz to the balloons to make them really sparkle.

Just a few Cards

Hello these are just a few of the Cards that I made on Wenesday at Moorooka Callagriphic Arts and then Thursday at Michelle's Cards & Stamps.
This one is done with Nestabilities, and just the right paper and you have a birthday card.
EK Success Punch and Nestabilites

This one is very simple using the Cuttlebug and a few square's a bit of ribbon and the lovley Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime Collection paper.
Go and see Renata at Moorooka she has lots of new papers and is now keeping Martha Stewart Punches.

The next 5 are from today's class with Robyn we used Nestabiliities Heart Shapes

This one is stamped and we then the dress is cut out of paper. We have used Distress Ink Pads and glitter.

Copic Markers were used for this one and we had to stamp the butterfly 4 times and cut it out 3 times to get this effect.

Once again this is stamped and cut out twice and then colured with Distress Ink and a Blender Pen

This one is my Favorite, its a Sizzix Die Cut for the bird and the bird cage.
The paper in the background is actually stamped with Kaiser's English Rose Stamp Set and then coloured in with a blender pen and using the Distressed Ink Pads.

Hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed making them.

My best Friend lost her Dad last week and one of my other Friends has phoned, text or emailed me nearly everyday to see how we are all coping so this little verse is for her.
'Uncle Pete' you are forever in our hearts.

For all you do, for who you are, I will be forever grateful you are in my life."

Scrap For A Cause

Well I had a wonderful day today at Kaisercraft Browns Plains. They ran a fundraiser for the flood victims, we did page layouts, off the page albums etc and cards and all of these are being donated to Queensland flood victims to have for there photos. One of the Ladies I was talking to told me her friend has lost everything including all of her Craft room, yes the whole lot. Can you imagine throwing out all of your papers because they are dirty and wet and ribbons, flowers, everything. Some things they have been able to save but not a lot.
Here are a couple of the things that I made today. Some of these I started last week so I could get a few things made.
Wall hangings, one for a boys room and one for a girls room and they can just add there photos.

I had a couple of these albums already at home so I started them early.

These next two are layouts done with Christmas Carnival.
These are pretty simple as I was running out of time.

Another little book
One of the Ladies did this Tray in the Tea Cup Paper.

We had a couple of Kaiser items that had already been made that we could bid on in the auction. This one wasn't one of them but I did bid on it and guess what.

I WON
One of the Ladies had actually made this for her friend who was also there for her Birthday and she gave it to Kaiser to auction and she is going to make her another one.

So here I am with my box of Chocolate Paper Roses, I told the girls I only wanted it for the idea of how to make them.
For the lucky people who will benefit from the money we raised and the products they will receive it was a pleasure to make these and raise some money for you.
