Sweet 16 Birthday Card

My son's girlfriend Ashley turned 16 this week and I made her this card, I only used Martha Stewart All Occasions Cake Art Cricut Cartridge to make the ballons, writing and numbers. It really is a great Cartridge and not just for making real cakes.
I made it into an easle card so she can see the balloons.

I added extra Kindy Glitz to the balloons to make them really sparkle.

Just a few Cards

Hello these are just a few of the Cards that I made on Wenesday at Moorooka Callagriphic Arts and then Thursday at Michelle's Cards & Stamps.
This one is done with Nestabilities, and just the right paper and you have a birthday card.
EK Success Punch and Nestabilites

This one is very simple using the Cuttlebug and a few square's a bit of ribbon and the lovley Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime Collection paper.
Go and see Renata at Moorooka she has lots of new papers and is now keeping Martha Stewart Punches.

The next 5 are from today's class with Robyn we used Nestabiliities Heart Shapes

This one is stamped and we then the dress is cut out of paper. We have used Distress Ink Pads and glitter.

Copic Markers were used for this one and we had to stamp the butterfly 4 times and cut it out 3 times to get this effect.

Once again this is stamped and cut out twice and then colured with Distress Ink and a Blender Pen

This one is my Favorite, its a Sizzix Die Cut for the bird and the bird cage.
The paper in the background is actually stamped with Kaiser's English Rose Stamp Set and then coloured in with a blender pen and using the Distressed Ink Pads.

Hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed making them.

My best Friend lost her Dad last week and one of my other Friends has phoned, text or emailed me nearly everyday to see how we are all coping so this little verse is for her.
'Uncle Pete' you are forever in our hearts.

For all you do, for who you are, I will be forever grateful you are in my life."

Scrap For A Cause

Well I had a wonderful day today at Kaisercraft Browns Plains. They ran a fundraiser for the flood victims, we did page layouts, off the page albums etc and cards and all of these are being donated to Queensland flood victims to have for there photos. One of the Ladies I was talking to told me her friend has lost everything including all of her Craft room, yes the whole lot. Can you imagine throwing out all of your papers because they are dirty and wet and ribbons, flowers, everything. Some things they have been able to save but not a lot.
Here are a couple of the things that I made today. Some of these I started last week so I could get a few things made.
Wall hangings, one for a boys room and one for a girls room and they can just add there photos.

I had a couple of these albums already at home so I started them early.

These next two are layouts done with Christmas Carnival.
These are pretty simple as I was running out of time.

Another little book
One of the Ladies did this Tray in the Tea Cup Paper.

We had a couple of Kaiser items that had already been made that we could bid on in the auction. This one wasn't one of them but I did bid on it and guess what.

I WON
One of the Ladies had actually made this for her friend who was also there for her Birthday and she gave it to Kaiser to auction and she is going to make her another one.

So here I am with my box of Chocolate Paper Roses, I told the girls I only wanted it for the idea of how to make them.
For the lucky people who will benefit from the money we raised and the products they will receive it was a pleasure to make these and raise some money for you.

Home from the Cruise

Well Jessie and Luke arrived home on Saturday from there Cruise, they had a fantastic time and they are now ENGAGED. Luke proposed to my daughter Jessie and even had the ring for her as well. He had been planning this for her for for at least 12 months.
I love this photo its a bit cheeky but you can see her ring.

And this has to be my favourite photo they had taken on the cruise the photographer made her pose with her hand and show of her new engagement ring.

Well I hope to be making engagement invites very soon so I will keep you posted.
Welcome officially to our family Luke and of course to Jessie's new in laws, Les Judy and Casey.

Bon Voyage Card

My daughter Jessie and her boyfriend Luke are of on a Cruise tomorrow Saturday 22nd. This is her first Cruise but Luke's second. They leave from Brisbane Portside and head to Whitsunday's, Yorkey's Knob, Port Douglas, Willis Island then back to Brisbane on the 29th of January.
So I thought I would make them a card, it ended up being quite big but I wanted to make the Ship as big as I could. This is the front of the card I used Life is a Beach for everything except the Letters.
This is supposed to be Jessie and Luke waving goodbye

I used Lyrical Letters for all of the words.
Some Dolphins that they will hopefully get to see.

There very own Deck Chairs with there initials on them.

And this is supposed to be one of the Islands they will get to see.
I added some buttons by cutting the shank of the back so they fit flat, for the shells and the treasure.

Well its taken me some of last night and most of the day to make this one so I hope they like it.
Have a great time Jess and Luke.

Bits and Pieces

I hadn't got around to sending some Christmas Cards to a couple of our Friends so I thought I would make them New Year Cards. This is what I came up with the help of one of my Cricut Cartridges Sweethearts and a Stamp that I have had for awhile and the oval Nestabilities.
I went into a bit of a production line to make them all up

I cant remember where I got the sparkly paper from but I have a few colours in it

My son Corey's girlfriend Ashley spent the day with me last week and this is what we made for her room, the bin is from Kaiser and the paper is Seaside Collection also from Kaiser.
I still have some stock left is you wish to purchase any.

I did help Ashley but she did a pretty good job herself.
I would have loved to have added Flowers and Bling but she liked it just as it is

Scrapbooking Pages

Here are 4 more of my Christmas pages I have done over the last few days. I am really loving using the Kaiser products on these pages and just adding bits a pieces.
I used Cricut Cartridge Home Accents and Kaiser Embellishments, and Stamps and  some kindy Glitz

This one used the Spellbinders Nestabilities to actually cut the photo's out.

I used the Cricut Cartridge Rock Princess to get the Guitar for the Boys.
They both got electric Guitar's for Christmas.

Hope you enjoy looking

Kaiser Scrapbook Pages

Can you believe I am a Kaiser Stockist and this is the first time I have used any Kaiser products in my Page layouts. So this is a first for me. I have used the Christmas Belle Collection and used my Cricut and Nestabilities to cut out the shapes. I have softened the edges of the Poinsettia's, with Creative Memories Chalking Ink.

I have got over 200 photo's from Christmas day to put into my Album so I have a lot of work ahead of me. I like to get a lot of photos onto the one page so hopefully I will only need one Album.
